The Daylite Series are not just "high brightness" displays, commonly available everywhere. Daylite LCD panels are modified to exacting parameters to give exceptionally clear picture quality in all sunlight conditions. Backlighting is made more efficient, a precision lens is bonded to the front of the assembly to eliminate glare and a new generation of control electronics has been developed making Daylite's perfect for professional film and television use.

All Daylite panels are RGB active-matrix TFT types with fast response times so that moving video and multimedia presentations are properly reproduced. The contrast & color richness of these panels is so good that the brightness will typically be set well below maximum for all except extreme outdoor locations; thus the typical power consumption figures will usually be achieved.
